I pooped. Mission accomplished.
Also my JP Drain is doing basically nothing, which is a good thing at this point. Barring any drastic, unseen issues, I should go home tomorrow. Can’t wait!

take it easy my friend -
You still on the pain meds? My only words of wisdom from my various maladies is that I consistently found Advil even at a relatively low dose worked better than any of the various pain meds they ever gave me and had significantly fewer side effects.

Congratulations! Now you are back in competition with all the other quarantined TP hoarders.

Yeah, oddly enough I found through this experience I’m basically immune to the pain relieving effects of narcotics. The only thing that did remotely anything was Fentynal, and that managed to take pain in post-op from a 10 to a 9. I do get a bit of that mind/body seperation and feel warm and fuzzy inside, but they do nothing for my actual level of pain.
Percocet works, but I think its more the tylenol than the codine. But tylenol is also hard on the internals, so the sooner I can get to Advil or Motrin the better.
They did give me some Toradol, which is basically liquid IV Motrin and that shit was awesome!

I'm trying. I like having goals and meeting them. Aids in the recovery vs laying around in the hospital like a lump.
